Sarah's picks

Because of my friends in blogland, I've come across so many cool products that I now use because they were endorsed by you guys. So, I'm no Oprah, but I wanted to show you a few of my current favorite things! It's a very random collection, but they are all things I love and use!

Beauty Products

Pond's Dry Skin Creme

I've used this stuff every day since 9th grade, and it is the best moisturizer! It keeps my skin hydrated and feels so good!

SoftSoap Pink Grapefruit Body Wash

This soap is like $3 and smells heavenly! It is perfect for the summer, and your whole shower smells like yummy pink grapefruit! We have the handsoap in this scent as well.

Lubriderm Advanced Therapy Triple Smoothing Lotion

My mom told me about this lotion, and I think she read about it in Real Simple. You know those little dry skin bumps that you get on the back of your arm? This lotion gets rid of those! Seriously in the first application! I'm not crazy about the smell, but it really does work!

Other things

I wrote in another post that I hate straining myself carrying 15 grocery bags up 3 flights of stairs in order for me to not make a second trip down. My husband found this gadget at Bed Bath and Beyond, and we love it! You can basically carry all your bags on this, and it distributes the weight of the bags without cutting off the circulation on your hands! We just have to remember to bring it back down to the car when go to the store!

Goody Elastic headbands
I'm sure most of you probably have some of these, but I wanted to include them because I love them so much, and these are the best ones I've found. I wear them every time I work out. They stay on my head and the little elastic grips eliminate the need for bobby pins to clip my bangs back.

Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell

On our way to San Antonio this past weekend, Ryan and I listened to this on the ipod. It's a current bestseller, and totally blew us away with fascinating trivia on success. It challenges the concept of a "self made man" and shows how certain people are given hidden advantages by things like age, month you were born, being a minority, and other random circumstances. We haven't finished it yet, but we highly recommend it. You will be talking about it at parties!

That's all I have for now! Thanks for all the great products you guys have shown me! And since I love you so much, here's another super cheap magazine subscription! Better Homes and Gardens 1 year for $5!!

LOVE this post! I am ordering the trip grip tonight...I have to walk up three flights of stairs too. I didn't even know something like this existed! I'm glad to hear you liked Outliers...I'm on the waiting list for it at the library. I loved The Tipping Point so I'm crossing my fingers this one is as good.
