Weekend Update

This weekend Ryan and I went to Shertz, Texas (his hometown) to spend time with his family and celebrate the recent family birthdays, which happens to include mine. I turn 25 next week! : ) We had a blast even though we were only there about 20 hours! It was a whirlwind trip, but thats what happens during cross country season!

Before we left on Saturday I got to spend time with Adrienne and her friend from Midland! We ate some yummy BerryHill and went shopping. It was alot of fun and I wish I could see friends like her more often!! Yesterday I realized I didn't take any pictures the entire weekend! So I will try to do better next time!

In other news...
  • Last night Ryan told me that he's taking me on a short trip for our anniversary in November! The only hint he gave me was that we would be traveling by plane! ohmigosh!! I'm so excited I can't sleep, and all I think about is where we could possibly be going! There will be more clues coming because I told him I need to know what kind of clothes to pack, and of course have time to buy some cute outfits : ) After thinking about it all day, I'm hoping for somewhere in New England, or somewhere tropical, but I really don't care where we go I'm just so happy! And I can't believe we have been married almost 1 year...
  • Monday and Tuesday this week I'm going to a training seminar teaching Stephen Covey's "7 Habits of Highly Effective People". Today's class was awesome, and I can't wait to go tomorrow. I'm learning so much about organizing and prioritizing. The whole course is applicable to both work and home life, which I love!
  • Texans...are you kidding me?!
  • I don't really watch Dancing with the Stars (seriously!) but when I do occasionally see it I have to watch Cody Lindley from Hannah Montana. How cute is he?!

Happy Monday y'all!

Sis,

I'm glad you liked Covey. I got to do that at Shell. Too bad I have forgotten much of it!
