Christmas Movies part 1

My new blog series featuring all of my favorite Christmas things!
Make lists on your blog too - I want to see what you guys love!

Starting with...

Sarah's top 10 favorite Christmas movies of all time!

When reading this list it will become very obvious to you that I am a huge sucker for nostalgia and have an obsession with all things mid 20th century...if you didn't already know.

10. Mickey's Christmas Carol (1983)

This movie featuring Scrooge McDuck and Mickey Mouse, was my first exposure to Dickens' A Christmas Carol. I'm assuming many of you have not had the pleasure of seeing this re-telling of the classic, but I will tell you that it is practically impossible for me to picture Jacob Marley as anyone other than Goofy.

9. Frosty the Snowman (1950)

I watched this taped a million times when I was little. My favorite part? When the police officer discovers that Frosty came to life, and was so shocked he swallows his whistle...

I don't know why.

8. Love Actually (2003)

This is not a typical Christmas movie, but I really like what it says about love and its different forms. Hugh Grant tells us at the beginning of the movie: " If you look carefully around, Love actually is all around you..."

7. How the Grinch Stole Christmas (1966)

Classic.

"You're a mean one, Mr. Grinch..."

6. Charlie Brown Christmas (1965)

Confession: I am obsessed with Charlie Brown. and P.S. I can't stand that when they show it on tv now, there are obviously different voices than the originals.

Anyways, I love love love this movie, and it's soundtrack, and still crack up at this part:

*Stay tuned for my top 5 Christmas movies!*
