Confessions

  • Last night I found some of our wedding cake in the back of the fridge. We got married in November 2007...
  • I actually screamed with excitement when Holly Madison didn't get kicked of DWTS last night...
  • When Ryan has soccer games, I like to get really fancy and make myself Velveeta Shells and Cheese for dinner. It's my FAVORITE! (Mom, I promise not to pass on my apparent disregard for nutrition to your future grandchildren)
  • I really love to go to realtor.com and babynames.com on my lunch break. Its like I am still 10, seriously. *Note: we definitely are not in the home buying or baby naming stage in our lives. We are in more of a eat macaroni and cheese for dinner, watch reality tv, and hope that if leave food at the back of the fridge long enough, it someone else will throw it out kind of stage!
But...
Tonight a nurse from our insurance company is coming over to the apartment to do blood, urine, and various other tests on us for our pending life insurance policy. After meeting with our financial guy, we decided that we would follow his recommendation and pay tons of money give ourselves peace of mind. Now that sounds adult-y : )

Believe me I know all about the velvetta mac and cheese, there for a while in the beginning of this pregnancy it is all I wanted to eat! hahaha.
As for the life insurance, way to go! We have it too, and believe me it makes you feel so much better paying those premiums when you do have a little one, for the "just in case" factor. You never know, but its nice to have some cushion to lean back on if there are bad times! Although I could do without the blood test part of it all.

Don't feel bad, we eat velvetta shells and cheese at least 3 times a week. And sometimes... we each eat our own box. ;)

Ha Ha! Us too! You already knew that I play on realtor.com but we also might have our kids names picked out too (we're having a boy and a girl right?).... We're about three years from buying a house and more for having kids. I've always been an excessive planner :)

Hahaha yay for finding that cake!! Ours is STEAL waiting for us down in TX as we weren't able to eat it for our 1 year anniversary.

I'm kinda afraid of what it'll taste like this July! :)
