As you further know, I gave up my beloved Sonic Dr. Pepper, knowing all the sugar was definitely not helping me out, and am proud to say I have been clean for 7 weeks!
Flash forward to this week.
Things went really well weight loss wise at first, but the past couple weeks I've been trying to make up for a 5 pound setback. I couldn't really figure out why I gained those 5 pounds, because I thought I was doing everything I should. Even my fitness friend at worked was baffled. We talked about several factors like maybe I've hit a plateau, or my body needs more varied workouts, but now I am 100% certain that I know what it is...

A couple weeks ago, I decided that these would be a great alternative to DP, because um it has fruit in it, right?
Actually what it does have is a lot of sugar. 57 grams of sugar to be exact. And the bad part is that I usually would get a large which has 88 grams of sugar. 88 grams of sugar times 3-4 a week = math I need a calculator to do. oh. my. gosh. I was literally better off with the DP!
So needless to say I just need to avoid Sonic in the first place. What in the world do you guys drink that tastes good after a long day but wont put someone into a diabetic coma? Is there anything? Help!
