Dear 30 Day Shredders,
I know that there are like zillions of bloggers who love this video, but I have one question for you: Is this video appropriate for someone (me) who lives on the 3rd floor of her apartment, or is there a lot of jumping around that would
Thanks,
Wannabe Shredder
P.S. Like it says on the cover, did you lose 20 pounds in 30 days???

I am so right there with you! I am in an apartment and my exercise is very limited.... I mean I know that I wouldn't want a herd of elephants stomping around in the apartment above me!
Oh apartment living....
I have this video and I live on the second floor of my apartment. I do it right when I get home because I figure 20 minutes of a little noise at 6pm is way better than at 830 pm.
there are things like jumping jacks and fake jump roping but they are only for like 2 mins at a time. You shouldn't be making too much noise doing the ab work and the lunges and stuff like that you know. I would say go for it and don't do it after 9pm. Good luck! :)
I'm in an apartment too girl. Although, I don't have anyone below me, but I think you'll be okay. Unless you do jumping jacks/jumping rope with lead feet, I suppose no one would hear you. Oh, and just don't drop your hand weights on the floor. Go for it. I haven't been as faithful with it as I should be, but it totally kicks your butt. Granted, I'd look a little freaky if I lost 20 lbs, I definitely think it helps shred the 'extra stuff' most of us have! :) Let me know what you decide!
i agree with everyone that you should just go for it as long as it's not late at night or early in the morning :)
as for weight... i've only lost 3.5 pounds in 20 days but i have skipped a few days and i've cheated a little with my eating. i sure WISH i'd lost 20 pounds already...
The Shred is surprisingly not as much jumping as other videos I have done. I'm on the 3rd floor of our apt too and I usually work out after 9a.m. or 7p.m. which I don't think should bother the people below me and they haven't complained and I've been doing the video for almost 20 days now.
Totally unrelated: in college my boyfriend (pre-Hubs) danced for STOMP and Tap Dogs. He was SUCH a jerk and thought it was funny to practice on his tile kitchen floor at all hours of the day...
So, I just wanted to thank you for being considerate to your neighbors, even though you're teeny tiny and I don't they'd hear you!
